The location of my outdoor lights are not in direct sunlight but not exactly shaded. Bought two light bulbs, neither one would should off during the the day time. Taking back to the store.
Work great!
Put 2 in lamps on either side of my garage, they work great, been several months now. When you first plug in they immediately turn on even if it's daytime, but they will eventually turn off.

well designed LED light sensing bulb that works
Have been trying to find a reliable light sensor for my two wall mounted garage lights. Seasonal changes in the sun's position made it difficult to find a sensor that worked properly all year long. Screw in sensors cost about $10 each and do not work well. Bought two of the GE Dawn to Dusk bulbs ($10 total), each with two light sensors spaced along the base at 90 degrees. dusk to dawn is NOT 3 hours. what kind of tmbs is this? the bulb will not last 13 years as highlighted then, will it? NO! bad information and downright misleading.
