Do NOT ever buy this dryer. This is one of the worse dryers I have ever owned. The matching washing machine is no better. EVERY weekend, I am doing laundry and washing bed sheets and blankets. This dryer can not tumble a blanket without rolling it into a ball every 3 minutes. I have been trying to get the blanket dry for the last 2 hours so that I can continue with the rest of my laundry. I've had multiple service calls on this dryer before the warranty expired after the first year. Apparently G...

Won’t power on after 16 months
I was really excited about purchasing this model in 2021 after reading a lot of reviews/researching. But now that I look at recent reviews, 16 months after my purchase, it seems like many people are having the same problem as me. My dryer won’t power on anymore after 16 months of regular use. It is not an issue at the outlet or electrical box, but the dryer unit itself. It seems like there are other reviews posted that mention this same issue, or the dryer not heating. Why is a solution not cove...

All the bells and whistles!
We just upgraded from a set of appliances that were probably from the 70's. Before those we had a relatively new set of appliances at our previous home so we have experienced both old and new. This current set of GE appliances if by far, superior in every way. It has wifi connectivity and app control, which I use when I want to run my clothes through a dryer cycle to prevent wrinkles when I am ready to do laundry. It has a freaking damp-sensor that recognizes how damp the clothes are and then be...

Pleasantly surprised!
I have bee searching for 4 months to replace a washer and dryer that I have owned for more than 20 years. What I have found is that today’s washers and dryer‘s come with so many bells and whistle‘s that they forget the basics. During my search I had to return two sets of machines because of this problem. I was quite skeptical when I purchase these two GE appliances. Delivery what is the lead by two days because of work being done at my house. During delivery the installer noticed a problem with...

Not too happy with it
So far it doesn't dry properly and the DrySense makes it harder to dry things, to the point that Timed Dry is the most reliable, but it still takes a lot to dry a small load

How Dry can you GO!
Purchased this dryer when my washing machine died. Figured I would upgrade both washer and dryer with new tech and features. This Dryer is AWESOME. Not sure why but it takes less time to dry than the old one...energy efficiency? Doesnt matter but what used to take about 40 minutes now only takes 30. Saving time doing laundry, a big plus. I also like the steam feature although I that GE should include the optional rack instead of making us go out and buy it. If you are going to sell us a g...

Door is not reversible!!!
Our dryer has to sit on the left of our washer due to the location of the gas hook up. I specifically checked the specifications and this one stated "Door Swing Reversal". I was looking forward to this as I have been reaching over the door for years with our old one and it drives me crazy. Although it looks as if this door can be reversed, they must not have tested it out as the notch that secures closure does not line up with whole on the door once the direction of swing has been reversed. ...
Very nice product
Really like all the features, drying options, especially steam because I don't like to iron clothes. Have only had the dryer a couple weeks, but only thing I do not care for is the door closure, which is like old dryers, where you have to slam the door to close it. Prefer a more gentle closure mechanism, but I was aware of that when I purchased it. Only other negative, not having to do with the dryer, is that I wanted to get the washer to match, and there was no financial incentive/deal to do t...

Worth the Wait!
At first we were frustrated by the delay, but were understanding of the problems the COVID pandemic caused. But once we received the appliances, they were more than worth the wait! They are easy to use and work like a dream. I've never had a machine that dries so quickly and efficiently. The wifi connectivity is even more handy than I anticipated. My laundry room is upstairs, so it is nice to get a notification on my phone when the load is almost done, and completed. I love this machine and enco...

Washer
This is the first time I have had a washer without the agitator. I love it. It washes my clothes nicely and has never gotten off balance. I love all of the features. WiFi app, water to wash stains, I love that I am able to pour a bottle of liquid soap in and it will tell me when it’s low. I love the features where it will show me how much time is left. So far this has been the best machine I have owned.
