Terrible.

Wouldn’t start at random… sometimes would take several times of trying or coming back later, then it would start. Great until 7 yrs now parts are wearing down?!

Great large capacity for comforters and larger items. It used to be very quiet. I had a belt replaced because it quit working about the 6th year. All was wonderful until 6 months after that, there is a constant, obnoxiously loud squeaking noise when it’s in use. I’ve had it about 6-8 years. Im looking for someone to come fix that now. I hope this isn’t the beginning of the end already.

Bought this from Homedepot website and they don’t let me leave my review there! I wish my husband read the one star reviews before he bought this one! My favorite dryer so far!

Love this dryer! It had a large drum and I can even dry my King size down comforter in here and have done sleeping bags several times. If you have shorts of hoodies w a loose string end it can tend to get caught by the top of the door. Never had anything ruined though. I’ve had this dryer for 3+ years now. With a wool ball even pillows come out fluffy and without the polyfil all wadded together.

Great Features, Drys Super Fast, Very Quiet

Absolutely Love my washer & dryer. I've had many over the years raising 6 kids, now care for 12 grandbabies. I feel like I have a Masters Degree in Professional Laundry. Doing at the very least 5-10 loads a day, I can Honestly Say the Best set I've had thus far. This is yr. 7 and the belt on my dryer just broke this weekend. I never let anyone else touch them and my 13yr grandson did a load without me knowing, I think it was too big of a load, so we are Blaming Him!!

More Than I Ever Needed

So after our dryer started making disturbing noises my boyfriend went and bought this dryer. He asked me what I wanted to spend on a dryer and then proceeded to spend almost double my budget. While this is a wonderful piece of equipment, it has features I know I will never use. As in the remote start dry feature. Who would ever take their clothes out of the washer, put them in the dryer, set the dryer and walk away. Only to pick up their phone from another part of the house and start the dryer. ...

Huge drum, intelligent features

Very smart washer. Spends away it needs to, uses only as much water as needed and has a ton of settings. And you can wash a lot of clothes at the same time, which is very necessary in our household. It's probably been the best washer we've ever had. Also does a good job on blankets, rugs, canvas covers. Can handle the heaviest, burliest items.

Lint trap doesn't catch lint and door switch broke

This is the worst dryer I have ever had. I thought very highly of GE products but this dryer has changed my mind. The lint filter doesn't work well so you have to take it out and vacuum underneath it once a week. There is no easy to remove panel to make this job easier. I've never had a lint trap perform so poorly. If that wasn't bad enough, the door switch doesn't work. I have to tape a thin sheet of plastic over the door switch in order to turn the dryer on. GE dryer - never again

I would never buy another GE dryer. This dryer never worked properly throughout the past 7 years. The GE service rep is rude and acts as though he is being bothered. The low heat setting rarely worked. I would say 1 out of 10 times the heat would be low on the low setting, otherwise, the dryer ran hot and very hot.
