I love this AC! It’s so durable. And very powerful. I’m not sure how much $ it adds to the bill but I love it! It gets so cold so fast! The app control system is awesome too, now I don’t have to get up to turn it on or off.

Year 3, and two out of three units don’t work
Just pulled out our three units to hook them up for the third summer, and two are dead. The compressors don’t work at all. Prior to this, they were stored flat, inside, in a clean space. Do not recommend

this thing is good at cooling but is noisy. A relative bought a Haier and it is far more quiet.

Not worth the time or effort
Sorry for the long review but you HAVE to read this BEFORE you make this purchase! Expected more from GE
1 year and 3 days after I picked the unit up it started being much less cool. Guess how long the warranty is/was.. The wifi "smart" part stopped working about a month after installation but. I didn't care. I never used it anyway. The 'filter' LED started flashing about 2 months after installation. No amount of cleaning the filter or blowing out the coil with compressed air would correct the error. So.. it has flashed continuously for nearly a year. Worked for only one season. Out of nearly $400.00
Apparently may people have had similar problems with GE air conditioners with rust colored discharge from exterior of their products. Customer support poor at best.
