Hate this stove
Even on low everything will boil. Impossible to simmer and slow cook. I wind up transferring to a crock pot . Worst purchase I’ve ever made. Had it less than a year and ready to put it to the curb. Wish I could give it no stars

Lock function oversight
Using the "lock" function does not prevent the stove knobs from turning on, and moveover, they are easily bumped into the "on" position if you are moving about a small kitchen.

Expensive and Unreliable
This was not a cheap appliance. Less than a year after purchasing, the right front "dual burner" no longer works on the "high" setting. I have learned my lesson: GE makes incredibly sub-par appliances. I will never purchase GE again.

We've had a GE Profile Slide-In Electric Stove for about 8-10 years. It was an excellent appliance. When the control panel went corrupt, we purchased the GE 500 Series Slide-In Electic with Radiant Burners this week, and it is really beautiful. The controls knobs are large and sturdy and the settings panel is easy to see and select from. We never used Convection Oven in the prior model, so we did not mind not having it.
