This item came in a tube about as round as a silver dollar and less than 3 ft long. I had to order online because it was not available in my Lowe’s store. I didn’t realize until I received it that they charged me a $39 appliance delivery fee. Its no were close to an appliance item! I tried to talk to customer service about this which they were unwilling to help. So be aware if you do order this item.

30-in Gas and electric range Filler trim kit

The quality and appearance of the trim pieces is fine, however, the length of the side pieces is confusing. One set is too short and one set is too long. Most countertops are 24-25" deep, but the pieces are 22" and over 25". I ended up using the shorter pieces because I didn't have tools necessary to make a clean cut on the longer pieces. Looks OK, but not quite perfect. Also, if you only need the 2 side pieces, you are paying for 3 pieces that you don't use.

terrible design plan.

I have same issue as other people. The piece that is notched prevents a flush installation to close the gap between counter top and range. There should be 2 unnotched pieces.

I don't know who ordered the trim: Lowes or Installers. They passed the blame on each other. The stove I ordered does not need trim.

Would Not Recommend

Why do I need to buy all 5 pieces. 2 of the pieces are used for an appliance which slides in against a wall. The other 3 pieces are used for installing the range in an island. This should be 2 separate sets. So the customer can get just the parts they need, without throwing away half of the set which was not needed.
