Product performs well. Major concern is the fact that the filter units are resting on a 1/8 inch "shelf" that could easily allow it (with cleaning or vibration) to fall out and land on my expensive GE Profile glass induction cooktop. I tried magnetic tape to no avail and will now be tapping a screw through the back of each filter element and into the grease pan behind it. I love this hood. I think it is awesome too that it comes with a remote control. How handy is that? It is also easy to remove the overhead filters to clean!!!

SweepstakesButton Spring Design is Horrible
The design of the springs for the buttons is horrible. It uses little thin plastic springs that get brittle from heat and break. It now has a replacement but from the picture it doesn't look improved. This design failed in less than 18 months and the replacement part WB03X40773 is out of stock.

Great, but design lacking.
I like this exhaust hood very much, I don't generate a look of smoke/fumes with an induction cooktop but it seem to work ok. I really like the controls and lighting and how it looks. My big reservation is how the SS filter panels engage in the housing. They have two small handles that you have to grasp to remove and it's very easy, I mean very easy to drop this on the cooktop when removing. This is not something you want to have happen with a glass top induction cooktop. Even after explain...
