[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mounting of the light panel assembly needs to be redesigned. The two screws, one on each end of the panel (and the respective screw holes), that secure the assembly, plus the interior flange, to the hood insert frame do not line up easily and/or are "off" by a small amount and make threading the screws through the assembly and the flange (same holes) into the hood insert frame holes almost impossible. Plus you are doing this upside down! N...

Sweepstakesvery poor design and intolerable noise
1. the names for the control buttons are very small and upside down (I cannot read them) and located high inside the hood so you have to stick your head over the oven. Terrible design! 2. the damper on the exhaust rattles very loud! Not talking about he vent on the outside, but the damper on the inside of the unit. Builder says they can't fix it and said, in their experience, GE will not fix either. Again, bad design and maybe intolerable.

Wow! what a beautiful piece! I feel spoiled rotten with this new modern hood- It even comes with a remote that can be used- I also like how big the buttons are and all the options that are available! The fan isnt loud and this is very important since we do have the open concept floor plan! I rate this product #1
