Oven shuts off when the timer is done. Very dissatisfied with setting the timer also. Timer cannot be canceled. I had a GE gas range for 19 years prior to purchasing this one and loved it, but the control panel went and I was told no parts were available for a repair. I am so dissatisfied with my new range.

It's a nice budget stove
The oven itself is very nice. The burners are heavy duty, the controls are nice and big. And it the ignition heats up really fast. I haven't had a chance to do a cleaning but it seems easy to do.

Short life expectancy
It's a great stove when it works. Unfortunately, 6 months after the warranty expired some internal component controlling the ignition system to all the range burners stopped working. The electric to the display and oven still function and the gas is unaffected but the ignitors all stopped sparking. The unit is very clean, so we are sure there is nothing blocking the ignition process. The cost of the fix can't be justified by the lack of durability of the initial components so the ignition spark ...

Broken
I bought the stove right before Thanksgiving and it didn’t work on Christmas Eve. I am still waiting for it to be repaired. Third-party repair people don’t seem to be very on it. Very disappointed.

BROILER DRAWER IS A POOR OPTION
I have ended up selling this range after 6 months of use because of the placement of the broiler. It's unconceivable why GE thought moving the broiler out of the oven to a drawer BELOW the oven was a sensible and SAFE option. I had not realized the broiler was there when I purchased the range since my previous GE range had a holding drawer below the oven, not the broiler. I found it incredibly difficult to use the broiler and finally decided to get rid of the range and have replaced it wit...
