GE 17.5-cu ft Counter-depth French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker (Black Slate) ENERGY STAR

Mediocre plastic shelving

I am disappointed in the overall quality the shelving. The drawers stick, the attachments on the door are not stable and the ice maker fill process is noisy.

purchased because of the french door design.

FREEZER DRAWER POPS OUT OF TRACK, BACK OF FREEZER FREEZES OVER INSIDE REFRIGERATOR SHELF COMES LOOSE, NO PLACE TO CONTROL TEMPERATURE, WATER DRIPS INSIDE DOORS, WHEN TRYING TO GET WATER OR ICE OUT OF OUTSIDE DOOR WATER SPURTS OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE NO INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE DELIVERY. STILL LOOKING FOR WHERE THE TEMPERATURE GAUGES ARE.SO DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASE. i ALWAYS LIKED ge PRODUCTS.

Pretty disappointing

Shelves are flimsy and easy to break. And after 5 years it's making this horrible high-pitched sound that service guys don't know how to fix. A shame have to replace a fridge so soon. I would not buy another.

Door rusted and ice-maker broke within 5 years

The door rusted out within 2 years and the ice maje auger spring shredded within 5.

Love this GE Refrigerator

Love this GE Refrigerator for my husband and I. It's perfect size for what we need. The only "little" problem we have is the construction of the freezer top and bottom baskets. They are quirky when we open the freezer and the top and bottom baskets stick together and are wobbly. The store checked it out and said it was the way it was constructed. We'll adjust to it eventually. Thank you for a great product.

Disappointing

I love the exterior water /ice dispenser. I don't love the cheaply made plastic freezer bins and some of the door shelves that are so narrow that hardly anything fits in them.

Good fridge

It’s a great fridge for its size - be aware this is a counter depth fridge and will be “smaller” than what you are used to. The only thing is that it is noisy. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner but on low mode. Just ignore it. The whole idea is that it works well.

New fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the duel ice and water dispenser. Has nice space.

Very bright when you open the door. Many shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with our new GE fridge. Spacious yet small enough footprint for a small kitchen
