We had ge microwave installed on 26 June and we have had a service call to replace parts (which need to be ordered). also, we cannot read the front of the microwave. We have to use a flashlight to shine on the front to read. the only thing lit up is the time

We bought a GE oven, then decided to purchase this GE microwave to match it. We bought it in the color white to match the oven. Installing went very easy, until I was installing the second mounting screw, somehow the nut wasn't in microwave top .Had to take down microwave, called GE was told to take back to Lowes. Went back after removing microwave, unfortunately GE discontinued this microwave. Lowes went above and beyond, they are ordering a higher priced Whirlpool microwave to replace this one...

Since it was the only short or small above stove microwave, I didn’t realize the doorwas full width. This replaced an exhaust hood. Would be better if door was narrower as when your at the stove, I feel like I need to dodge it like a boxer dodging a left haymaker. Other than that great microwave.

Best low profile microwave option out there.

Would Recommend

It was hard to find a low profile, over the range modern looking microwave. This one was perfect and the price was well within our budget. We have an older home with lower hanging cabinets and this was our best option. It looks great and fit perfectly. We were a little worried about it being too small, but that is not the case. It fits everything we need it to and are very pleased.

GE Slimline Microwave

I love this slimline microwave. It has many preset options and takes up less room. It's sharp looking and since it has a smaller footprint my cabinet over the microwave could have an additional shelf. This does what I need it to do.
