would not recommend-it stopped working within 5 mo

second microwave in 5 months. first one stopped working after 5 months of use. luckily GE offers a 1 year warranty mail-in rebate which is why we purchased this second microwave within the 1 yr time frame (still waiting to receive the check in mail from GE). it is easy to use although i prefer not to have to press the cancel button every time to open the door which causes the button to feel wrinkled beneath the liner. it would be preferred if you did not have to press cancel to open the door to ...

Great everything - features, size!

My former microwave lasted about 4 years and they key I used the most stopped working, and I wanted to get a name brand like GE to replace it. I am very satisfied with this GE microwave so far and got it for a good price at a sale at Lowe's. I already have a newer GE washer that I dearly love - it really cleans the clothes so I really like the brand GE.

As we un packed microwave there was a scratch on the front of door. I took ceramic stove top cleaner and rubbed the heck out of the scratched area. And much to my surprise it really did reduce the visibility to see the scratch as much. I was happy after this and even feel bad as I was upset over the small scratch. Looks a lot better.

GE Microwave

Bought at beginning of month Sept 2026. My old GE microwave stopped working more than 30+ yrs. This new one is serving its purpose but it seems to be less sturdy and cheaply made. The door is very “tinny” sounding when opening and closing. I also think the push button opening is difficult. Awkward to press and the whole unit moves. As noted in other reviews the control pad does not light up and it is very difficult to see what the buttons say. And I’m still trying to get used to the child lock...

A workhorse in our kitchen

I like this microwave. The size is perfect for a corner spot on my countertop. I appreciate the child lock feature for safety. It heats evenly. We use this appliance everyday so having something reliable is important to us.

I purchased this as a replacement for my over the range microwave. This has been perfect so far. The size is just right to sit on the countertop. I wouldn’t go bigger than this.

Less Than Two Years Old and the Turntable M

Extremely disappointed with this GE microwave. The unit was manufactured in July 2024, and less than two years later the plastic turntable drive coupler literally burned, melted, and charred during normal use. I saw a visible flash inside the microwave and immediately smelled burning plastic. When I removed the glass tray, the turntable coupling underneath was badly blackened and deformed, with visible scorching around the center drive area. This is not a case of a turntable simply wearing out...

Great range!

Awesome range! The griddle is great! Heats up water and food fast! We had a smaller variant in our old house... My wife loved it so we had to purchase this one! Whats crazier is it was easy to plumb in given it replaced a 33 year old glitchy electric range... Only some cabinetry and a dead 220 wire were in the way. Works great!
