Easy to use

The ease of use for the base layer was a selling point. Easy to lay out and cut. One downside which was probably user error, was the plastic film on the back side would consistently tear and we would have to try and peel back without damaging the sheet. More troublesome but overall would very much recommend this product.

Easier then hot rolled roofing

What I liked: This is easier to install then hot rolled roofing BUT you need to be aware of a few gotchas. Per the manufacturer you must use an approved primer if you are installing this on OSB, or Plywood. The manufacturer's primer is NOT SOLD in California. Not by Lowes, HD or anyone else. Henry's 107 is supposed to work so that is what I used. FYI GAF Tech Support will NOT confirm this nor will they recomend one. Decent product would recommend

Relatively easy to work with. When using primer stuck pretty well to plywood. One placing on vertical surface kept releasing. Need cement glue to hold it in place. On a sloped roof it was a slick surface. When removing plastic from the back sometimes the wind would blow it back onto the sticky surface and it was very very difficult to remove.
