Frost King 3/8-in x 6-ft Foam Tubular pipe insulation

Insulating Copper Pipe

Used these, the tee and 90's to seal off almost all of our exposed water pipe in the basement. I had UL tape so went with non sealing straights. Used a lot of tape and found if I didn't wrap 360 at spots the tape would peel. Also hard to tape while keeping the foam sealed at the split. Still more cost effective as I used the tape to seal joints in the duct work. Finished my project using half a roll of $15 tape. The sealed straights would have been faster and easier but more expensive in the lon...

Good value, well worth the time.

Cuts easily only with a sharp utility knife, so have some extra blades handy. Slices open quickly so it can slide onto installed pipe easily. Best part is it closes up on itself pretty well, so mostly I only needed to duct tape closed at ends. Duck tape adheres very well so don't need to fully wrap to close it up.

Winterizing rv's

This item, plus the frost king heater cable does the trick of keeping the water flowing to my rv that I use during the winter months aka my life line.

Low cost & easy to install

This foam pipe insulation will quickly pay for itself through savings in heating bills. Just slide it over the pipe before soldering the pipes together, or slit the foam insulation along the groove to fit it over existing pipe installations.

Pipe Insulation

I used these to cover the pipes on a trampoline. I chose the preslit one because with the self sealing ones, they do not curve with the pipes. You have to be very careful putting them on, I had one split. But other than that, they worked perfect.

worked for me

I don't have heat in my basement so I thought I gave them a shot. I think they will work just fine
