Not what I expected
I'm rating 3 stars because the description, pictures, and packaging do not do an adequate job of describing what these are. They are very thin (this I SHOULD have known from the specs), but they do not do a lot in terms of filling any gaps. I ended up purchasing a roll of rubber foam and made an insulated border around the inside of the outlet cover; this has worked nicely so far.
great for the price
for less than $2 for 6 outlets, these are a great price. They do need to be just a tad bigger. I would rather have to trim off excess than not be big enough. In fact, I would just tuck the excess inside the outlet or between the box and any opening between drywall and outlet. Other than that, the draft from the outlets were reduced a good bit. I put them on during a windy day and think I felt a huge differnce in the draft.
Great Idea but Way too small
I had some exterior outlets that were drafty. I purchased these and luckily bought extra. They do not fit the outlet opening. The are barely wide enough and tall enough. I had to cut pieces from the extra ones to make them fit. Made installation much harder. Also had to reposition each outlet to make sure they were centered. Made it a much longer process than it needs to be.
Dimensions need to be increased 1/4"
Good product but the dimensions need to increased by about 1/4". On many of my electric boxes the product doesn't quite cover the hole in the wall.

inexpensive way to reduce air flow
Bought these after having a home energy audit where they were recommended. Read the other reviews and was a little worried about fit/quality. They are VERY easy to install as they are foam and easily stretch to fit. If you're looking for inexpensive ways to reduce the air infiltration/heat loss in your home, these are the best. Just make sure you have a power driver if you have a lot of outlets...the manual screwdriver takes a while. :( Also, make sure you take a minute to punch out all the lit...
Keeps draft out
With a strong wind I could really feel a draft on a couple outside wall outlets. After installing these I really noticed a difference. The outlet was still a little cool to the touch but the draft was gone.
