If you need high temperature
As others have mentioned the glue always fails and you will need a tape to keep it secure. Even with that minor issue I use it for hot water heating. Most other products won't work at hot water heating system temperatures. It is fiberglass so be careful when you cut it outside your home.
Lowes will harrass you for a review if you buy it

This insulation was easy to install and stayed in place when wrapped around the pipe. The included adhesive made it easy to finish the job, too.
