However, i hear a little rattling inside after I shut down the fan not sure if it is because it is new. Be honest it as been 3 weeks :), i will give it more time.

Horrible business practice
I bought all fridgedaire appliances - it took them 4 times to get the dishwasher working even the repair man said junk. This hood is so loud and ticking they immediately offered a buyback minus taxes and installation without even sending a repair person so they must know it is junk - I am losing a few hundred dollars on this as I had a coupon and it more expensive than when I bought it. They simply said oops.
