[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AC will lower the room temp and help with humidity. But in my roughly 204sq ft living room, I can't get the temp below 80 for the most part. Without the AC it'll probably be 87 to 90 degrees, so I'll get a 7 to 10 degree difference. Sometimes it'll drop as low as 77 in the room, but that doesn't feel much different from 80. So you won't get a cold room, but it is definitely comfortable. AC is loud, and Testing the temperature of the air...

Cools very well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement for a Friedrich wall unit that lasted only two years. The Frigidaire unit cools the room quickly (300 sq ft) and has an easy-to-use remote. One suggestion: The installers did not remove the tape holding the front panel on, so when I went to check the filter I couldn't open the panel at first. Try using tape of a contrasting color for shipping purposes so it's easy to see that it's still on.
