Nice but timer off

I’ve only had my double oven for a week. It replaced a double oven we had for 13 years. I am very disappointed that the timer shuts the oven off instead of allowing you to reset it for additional time, as needed. I bake a lot. When a cake is 25 to 35 minutes setting it for 25 minutes is common sense but YOUR oven shuts off when the timer goes off - instead of giving me a chance to see if needs to bake longer. Looks smaller than it seems
