Nice cover, one major issue

This is a nice patio cover with a 20lb weight load, but the instruction manual was poorly written and the photos and illustrations were lacking critical details in some areas. The product was well packaged, and no damage during delivery. The 8' X 16' cover came in four cartons, 2 16' cartons and 2 8' cartons which made it easy to unload off the delivery truck and get to the construction area. Adequate but difficult to install

Finished product is good, but installation instructions are inadequate, despite included printed copy and separate online slightly different copy. Illustrations just aren't complete, and some of the parts simply did not go together as indicated. Other reviews claimed installation in six hours, but it was more like three times that. Excellent quality cover. Great customer support!

I found the installation of this kit to be fairly easy. I took my time up front to make sure the posts / header beam was parallel to the attachment point and I pre marked each of the roof panel locations at both ends. After after that, everything just fell into place. The roof panels take some effort to get them to lock together, but after a few panels, you get the hang of it. worst labeling anf directions I’ve ever seen.

Where to even start…. No instructions in the box, not a single label on any part, at all. So options, print out 30 pages of dorextions yourself or use a 5” phone screen to assemble a 22x10’ cover. Good product, Good price!

The product came in a BIG 18-wheeler truck. Good thing we have a big wide street and a short driveway, to tow it into the garage. All the parts and panels necessary were included. Not easy

This patio cover overall is fine, instal is another matter. This is not a pre fab product! It is basicly the materials in enough length to work with. You will need metal fabrication tools. Saws and drill bits to handle up to 1/4 ". I expexted at least the bare minimum of pre drilled holes. The only thing that is standard is the roofing panels .Most pieces need to be cut. Contempra 22'x10'

I just installed the 10'x22' insulated OLS Contempra. It was a lot of work but well worth the extra work. The quality is excellent, and there were more than enough supplies included. I did replace the concrete at the same time. I got quoted and it costs me 25-30% of the cost of a contractor to install a similar canopy with concrete.

This can be done but it is a real project!

Directions included were perhaps the worst we have come across for a DYI project. Many spelling mistakes. This was a difficult project even for us, and we have remodeled extensively in our prior homes. The hardware included was not of good quality. The aluminum itself seem fine, sturdy. Over all the patio cover turned out ok. This project is only for the brave!! You will need 2 people at least and mutiple power tools, saw, drills and hand tools.

Two or three day project that is worth the time.

The product was well made. Very sturdy. Didnt have paper instructions in the box which it was supposed to have. We found instructions online and they were not the best but with some brain power we were able to figure it out. It is a labor intensive project. Strongly suggest having two people. Metal awning

I love the awning and would give it 5 stars except there’s nowhere for the water to go except on my deck. The top panels fit into the front of the frame. It has a top, front, and bottom and the rain runs into it. When it gets full it just runs over the back onto the deck. Otherwise the water sits in it. My handy man is going to add a downspout to get rid of the water. Otherwise it’s a very sturdy awning and looks great.
