I use Floetrol as my pouring medium for my art form. Flood doesn't endorsed it's product for paint pouring but it's perfect for it. Helps produce cells great consistency for many techniques. Dries clear so it doesn't interfere with the paint colors

DIY Cheat Against Brush Lines
I learned about this product in community college and used it for smooth lay down of high gloss on crown moulding. Pros use it in sprayers but it's a great DIY hedge for a smoother finish.
