Flashwind 52-in Matte Black with Black/Dark Walnut Blades LED Downrod Mount Ceiling Fan With Remote Control Included 5-Blade

Great fan!

I love this fan-I purchased 5 for all of the rooms in my house. They look really nice and they put out a lot of air, I am super happy!

Fan with some air movement

This fan is pretty quiet. With this product not having a light attached to it, it’s pretty lightweight and durable. The remote is interesting. With out a light, the remote gives an option to turn on a light with brightness settings. For the fan portion, it has different levels ranging from 1 to 6 for speed. I kept it at a 4, which moves the air around in a decent sized bedroom. Assembly was quite quick and easy., all you need is a few extra tools such as a drill.

First impressions are this is a solid fan.

I got this ceiling fan to put up in a bathroom in our shop which isn't complete yet, we still need sheetrock and paint. Upon first impressions of the ceiling fan it was well boxed it looked sturdy and well made. The style is just what I was looking for. The fan has reversible blades with dark wood look on 1 side and black on the other. It comes with a remote for the light and fan with multiple speeds and lighting options. Also included was an extension rod for higher ceilings. I have installed m...

Easy to get going, but I don’t think it’ll last long

Super easy install that only took a few minutes. So huzzah for that. It also has 6 speed settings so you can get the airflow movement that you desire, all from a convenient wall mounted remote. Downsides. 1. It’s noisy. I tried to capture that in the video, but not really sure if it came out. The noise is a grinding from the motor housing. So I imagine that will lead to larger problems down the line. 2. It’s a pretty cheap fan. The blades look good from your house, but if you get up close,...

Overall. Great fan

Overall I’m pretty happy with this fan. If you’ve installed a ceiling fan before, there really isn’t anything unusual about the installation. The biggest difference compared with the older fan I replaced is that this one uses a remote, so there is an additional receiver/control module that has to fit up inside the canopy. Note this module is a tight fit so I had to install it first and then make my electrical connections. I installed this where there wasn’t previously a ceiling fan, so I had a ...

Well made product, recommend purchasing the unit that incluues the lighting package. Remote is a nice touch.

Easy installation. Remote works well, but batteries not included. Fan only no lighting. Durable with forward and reverse settings to match the seasons.

A Simple Design That Does The Job

This ceiling fan is almost perfect as a fan only option. The Good: - Simple to assemble and install. Not too many pieces to assemble and everything fits together (especially important for the remote box that fits without a struggle). - Fan blades look great. These plastic blades have the look of wood while being lightweight. This is not a wood looking sticker so no worries of scratches or damage ruining the finish. - Good air circulation with multiple settings available at the press of a remote...

Sleek black

This is a sleek looking black ceiling fan with a slim round light. The blades are smaller than the typical ones you might have in a living room but it still does the job. Mine is going on my side enclosed porch and I like how the black looks against the whiteness of the porch. I actually will not be hooking the light up, but it’s a great option to have. The remote is nice to have, but I prefer the pull chains. Directions are clear. This is a great affordable ceiling fan!

Looks fine as a fan, you can not add a light kit. And you can not easily without extra cost install on a vaulted ceiling.

My ceilings are vaulted, usually not a big deal. I would normally just buy an extension rod however the electrical wiring isn't long enough to go through even a 6 inch extension rod.. so in addition to the extension Rod I also need an extension for the electrical wiring which has a non-standard connection plug. Specifications said that you couldn't add a light kit they need to also add not for vaulted ceilings

Quality isn’t the best

The Flashwind 52 inch black and dark walnut ceiling fan met some of my expectations. I like smaller fans of 52 inch size in smaller locations, so the size wasn’t an issue. The fan comes with all clear instructions for installation. My concern was quality of the light itself. The material seemed to be of flexible soft like plastic and it already had a dent from within the packaging. Other than the quality of the light fixture itself the remaining material was of heavier and better quality. ...
