What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the seeds for high germination rates, fast sprouting within days, and vigorous plant growth that often outperforms other brands. Many highlight the excellent taste and texture of harvested beans, describing them as crunchy, tender, and superior to canned varieties. Reviewers consistently note the seeds are easy to grow, pest resistant, and ideal for beginners and families. However, some report poor germination with few or no sprouts, and several express frustration that seeds produced pole beans instead of the expected bush variety, creating a mismatch between expectations and results. Despite these inconsistencies, most customers find the seeds reliable and worthwhile.

Bush beans "BUSTED"
These beans were disappointing. I had planned to can these, barely enough for dinner. Plants were 8 inches tall, not many beans on them. Planted again. . . didn't come up at all. I wanted to feed my family. . I was very disappointed

Turned out to be Pole beans
Last year I bought BUSH beans from another company and they grew 9 feet tall, overwhelming my little garden. This year I switched to Ferry Morse, thinking they were an outstanding company. Lo and behold, my beans are currently 4 foot tall vines and growing faster each day. Does no one do quality control anymore? Adding Ferry Morse to my do not buy list.

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can wait to pick the beans. The germination rate seams to be very good and they seam to be resistant to pests so far. I’m hoping the flavor is amazing to can some dilly beans. And have a great years this year.
