A tale of 2 (sets of) doors...

I bought 2 sets of these doors to replace some 20+ year old french doors that were original to my house. I've never replaced doors like this but am pretty handy so figured I'd give it a shot. I found some of the things other reviews mentioned were true. These are about 3" thinner than the original doors so I had to build out the framing a touch. Quality Control Issues

The door appears to be well made from a distance, until you notice the details when installing it. The latch bolts for the inactive door are automatic actuation which is a nice touch, however, there is a deformity in the astragal t from the mechanism on the top bolt and the bottom bolt failed to hold in the retracted position after only a few uses. They vinyl casing has a lot of flex so be prepared to deal with that while installing the door, more so then any door I have installed. The good...

I've been waiting to get French Doors fir a long time. Never thought of impact ones until I found the two I got on clearance. I absolutely love them.

Filthy and Warped

The doors were delivered covered in mud and dirt. Once my installer put them in, they won't close tight. He stated that are warped from sitting outside for so long. Metal on bottom was also dented.
