Rusted and Pitted Right out of the Box
Came pitted and rusted. Installer opened package and identified pitting and rusting. Lowes offered a replacement, which we could not accept, as the cost of the installer coming back would have been hundreds. Lowes offered a 10% refund ($13... pathetic), and nothing more. For a $130 metal rod, you would expect decent quality, and for Lowes to stand behind their products. I will no longer be shopping at Lowes

Was not the right one for the fan I ordered, didn't come with wiring to extend wiring from existing wiring harness. Also had to drill and tap hole for jam screw.

Probably not the downrod you're looking for...
If you're trying to buy a downrod for the Fanimation Studio Collection AireFlex 52-in Brushed Satin Brass LED Indoor/Outdoor Downrod or Flush Mount Ceiling Fan with Light Remote, this is NOT the right downrod despite being by the same company and in the same gold color. The end of this downrod is not beveled and it needs to be beveled to fit that particular fan. It would be nice if Lowe's or Fanimation explained which fan this downrod actually fits....
