Too many compromises
IF IT'S A SUPER PRICE: buy and it's a totally fine mower If it's similarly priced to others: don't buy Compromise #1: The height adjustment is not full. The first two settings are "cut into the dirt" so they are never doable Compromise #2: the handles are uneven and it's different pushing it than normal mowers. Compromise #3: the battery is not physically secure. A pretty gentle normal lawn bump will pop the battery out and it needs to be reset. Again: $100 less than a comparable battery mow...
take claims with a grain of salt
None of this means you shouldn’t buy this lawn mower. It only explains why it’s not working in my situation, clarifying some of what’s in the ad. VDC = volts direct current. It *can* operate @80 VDC. It works reasonably well at 80 VDC. Default, though, is much less, presumably 40 VDC, raised automatically when encountering resistance, or manually when you see resistance coming. At 40 VDC it’s pathetically weak, so unless your lawn is sparse, parched, and/or mown very frequently, it runs @ 80 VD...

Cannot recharge batteries
Mower was fantastic the one time I was able to use it. Batteries never recharged after initial use. Have spent a week trying to resolve with company and so far unresolved. Mower ran well, nice & quiet too. But using it once and now a week later still being unable to mow again is quite frustrating.

Good deal for money.
Have used this mower twice so far. It did an excellent job mulching and and also bagging Each battery charges fully in less than an hour. Run time is about as advertised.

Buy once, cry once
I had bought a cheaper electric mower ($230 at the time) when I initially bought this house. That was a mistake. If I had just bought something in the $300+ price range I wouldn't have had to replace it. This mower comes with two batteries. It operates with one and only one in at a time. That means that 1. It comes with 10 Ah of battery life at 40V and 2. You can charge the second battery while mowing with the first. This means that the estimated 0.5 acres listed is wildly low. Each battery last...
