Not Quite as Advertised
Nice little stapler/nailer. Easy to adjust but not capable of handling the 18 gauge cleat nails it was purchased for. Supposedly will work with 18 gauge cleats, but the cleats weren't available from Lowes, so I bought them direct from Freeman and they still don't fir. Might work fine for staples or brad nails, but won't do the job I bought it for.

Good Flooring Nailer
I have several nailers but needed a flooring nailer to install some 3/8 engineered flooring. This worked perfectly once I got it set up and adjusted right. It took a lot of trial and error on scrap pieces. I installed about 200 s/f and it didn't misfire or fail at all. I would have preferred to have found a flooring attachment to my other two brad / staple nailers but had to buy a complete new unit. The price was reasonable and I would recommend this product.
Solid tool but misfiring issues
The tool is solid. It took a long time to get the plates set just right for our 9/16" engineered hardwood floors. Then we had some issues where it fired but the staple didn't go all the way in. This occurs maybe every 10-15 staples. I won't discount that it could be due to our air compressor which is getting older and sometimes doesn't maintain the pressure through the line to the tool, but sometimes when the pressure is where it should be it still fires a staple that doesn't go in all the way. ...

Excellent product so far.
Haven't gotten to use the flooring nailer yet but I have used the trim nailer. Two different size nails and never a jam. It's got a lot more work ahead of it this summer but they way it is operating I'm sure it's up for the challenge.
