The oak strips worked perfectly as a glued-in spline to change directions in our new hardwood flooring. It definitely save time the contractor would have spent cutting their own, resulting in saving us more money than the strips cost.

Did not work for my 3/4" Bruce flooring.

These are too thick and too wide for my Bruce oak flooring. Waste of time and money. Project is on hold for 1-3 weeks while I wait for special order.

Good quality product, does the job

We were installing hardwood flooring in our house and there are a few places where the nailing direction of the boards had to be reversed. Bought these splines and they did the job. They were a tad took wide & thick than the groove in my boards. Had to shave off about 1/16 inch of the thickness, and a full blade kerf (1/8 in) had to be trimmed off the width before the spline would fit in the groove of my boards.
