The available length is NOT a good choice
This trim/casing is what most carpenters refer to as “bay howe”. Has the same profile- but smaller scale… and price. It’s very UNFORTUNATE that it only comes in 8’ lengths! That creates a lot of WASTE!

Check all orders!
Was provided with the wrong size trim after the special order doors came without trim. Had to have my guy come back to put the trim on and then he had to trim them down to the correct size. Do not want to order anything from Lowes. Very disappointing and costly.

Nice profile, works as needed
This trim was the only profile that matched the baseboards in my older home. They look elegant once installed, and we like the detailing. We also like that they’re solid wood, but the soft pine is easily damaged in transport (denting at edges). I checked each board at the store to make sure we weren’t getting any that were too badly damaged.

Easy to use and multi-purposeful
It's a reasonable price, and I love that it’s already primed. It can be used for multiple purposes, not just moulding. I used it to frame a mirror in a bathroom.
