The American built N28W evaporative window is an economical unit that provides high performance, easy installation and low maintenance. Evaporative coolers are intended for use in dry, arid climates. They can lower indoor temperatures by as much as 15-20° Fahrenheit. Evaporative coolers have low installation/maintenance costs; use 75% less electricity; no ozone damaging refrigerants. The water saturated pads act as a type of filter, removing dust and allergens from the air.

No bueno! Very poorly made. Does not cool as expected. Had to take it out and replace. also, It is very difficult to replace the pads as the panels do not open. A waste of money. Also, Lowes staff were not very friendly.

Easy installation

I like the fact that it was already assembled for the most part. it took a while to cool down a 600 square-foot room. But once it cooled the room, it stayed very consistent. looks like it’s going to be difficult replacing the filters.
