I ordered a 14' beam of the Sandblasted Aged Pecan and since it was such a hassle to get it home, we decided to take a look at the store. So glad we did! It was a pinkish gray and it did not resemble the look of wood at all, in my opinion. The Pro shop called the Manufacture to see what color might work for us and they recommended Mahogany but I am afraid to take a chance again. They really need to have color samples for something this large and expensive.

Fragile!!

My 22' beam arrived today....cracked in half! Packaging was completely inadequate. It didn't help that the beam was resting on three pallets on the truck with the middle pallet slightly higher than the other two and was strapped down tightly like this. Lowe's and/or the manufacturer need to address this issue...seems to happen a LOT! I was just going to give up and get a refund because it seems very unlikely that a new beam will make it to me in one piece but I am going to roll the dice and or...

Be Prepared to Wait Months to Get Your Product

The beam, when it FINALLY arrived, looks great in our master bedroom. Unfortunately, we needed two of these beams, so we've ordered the second one. The problem? We ordered the first one in February and after receiving a broken one 3 months later, we finally got the replacement in July. We expect we'll be waiting at least 3 more months for the beam we just ordered to arrive.

I bought a few of these for my mom's living room and they look AMAZING! Super light and easy to install using the installation guide. 10 out of 10 stars if I could give it!
