We don't get much snow in eastern NC. But when we do you need a snow shovel. The handle is comfortable and easy to maneuver the shovel. The shovel is lite and sturdy.

Plastic shovel head, not ideal for icy snow

The shovel is not as sturdy as I had hoped. It is entirely plastic and does not have any metal lining the edge. For areas with delicate tiles or surfaces that would not react well to metal, that may be a plus. But for shoveling a driveway after a heavy snow, this is not an ideal tool. Also, the shovel does not ship fully assembled. You will need to attach the shovel head by drilling the screws (which are included) into the wooden pole.

My old shovel broke into 2 pieces after the last snow but it had served long and well for 35 years !! This shovel looks just the same and will probably outlive me !! It is easy to use as it pushes the snow to the edge of the concrete, limiting how much lifting actually needs to be done ~ I’m in my mid 60’s and this shovel allowed me to tackle a walkway and driveway in little more than an hour!! And no backache the next day ! I highly recommend this shovel for its sturdiness and ease of use ~

Solid plow

Seems sturdy and solid. It’s more of a plow than a shovel. Had to order online and took a while to come in. Went to buy it when it snowed but it came in well after it all melted. Now that I have it, it probably won’t snow again for some time.

The steel edge prevents wear

This is the BEST snow shovel, except it hasn't a steel leading edge, so I add that. 3/4" x 1/8" cold rolled with (6) 8 x 32 stainless flat head screws/nuts/lock washers

Plastic will wear away on a concrete driveway.

Great for light snow fall.

Bought to replace one that was worn out.
