Out of the box this could not cut my lawn evenly. I had to make multiple passes and basically double the time it takes to cut my lawn. I got the high lift blade and sharpened it to see if that helps but it still isn't as good as a 7 year old gas mower with a blade that sharpen every other summer. Going to try and return it but I already threw out the box

Good but not the strongest
Overall good purchase but struggles to cut through damp grass or slightly thicker patches of wide blade grass. Needed two charges to get through my .3 acre yard.

Returned
This was the 3rd ego tool I have purchased and was looking forward to the same great performance from this mower as from my blower and chainsaw. I was sorely disappointed and after 45 minutes of trying to cut an average dry lawn and having to restart the mower constantly I returned the mower and bought a gas one. I was then able to cut the same lawn an hour later at 3 inches with no bogging down or power issues. I might try different tools with ego, but as far as their mowers go I'm out.

A nice upgrade over my old Greenworks mower
Bought this mower after owning a Greenworks for 10 years. This mower is so much lighter and the runtime is much better. With the size of my yard I was never able to use the self propelled feature on my Greenworks mower because of the battery life, but it has not been an issue with the EGO. It height is consistent and the blade does a fine job through my thicker grass. Charge times are outstanding so I never have to worry about dead batteries.

EGO Mower
The mower works just the way I hoped it would. My lawn service messed up my front yard pretty bad, so I had to let them go. I wanted a mower that would make my lawn experience easy so I chose the EGO self propelled mower. I am satisfied. It checks all my boxes. So far, I'm very satisfied and happy.
