This is my second season of use for this machine. While snow blowing a recent 5 inch accumulation I noticed that the auger trigger would not disengage when the self propel trigger disengaged. Since the auger continued to rotate I was able to finish and remove the batteries. At first I thought the auger switch had frozen but it never disengaged even when warmed. I checked the manual and could find no reference to this issue. An internet search revealed if the auger switch was engaged when the b...

Powerful & quiet!
Ego makes great electric battery operated tools. We have several. The snow blower is easy to use, quiet and powerful. The only change I would like is a higher skid to raise it off the ground as we have a gravel driveway.

Finally replaced gas powered snow blower and do not miss the hassell and gas every year. Like all of my other EGO equipment, this blower is super powerful and flat out cool. Since I have a zero turn and so many other tools I will never run out of battery power and this tool uses little anyway even when using the hand warmers. I live outside of Syracuse and in the Lake Effect zone. This blower handles deep snow. Great purchase as with all my ego purchases. Shed the gas!!!!!

First foray into high power battery implements
Have used it twice so far this winter, expect more use within the next 4 days (SW Michigan yannow). My only beef is that the chute and tines that spin as well as the metal shell seem flimsy compared to my gas powered two stage. They flex a wee bit more than I think proper, but time will tell as the gas unit is over 10 years old. The main difference is that the electric does not bog down (so far) and seems to deliver the snow much farther distance than the gas powered unit. Neither unit appear...

Pretty good machine
I’ve used it once so far. About 4 inches of wet snow was handle easily. 1300 sqft of driveway and sidewalk. Battery life afterwards was somewhere between 2/5 and 3/5ths charge while using the mid auger speed and mid drive speed mainly. I think this machine can handle quite a bit more snow, especially with the auger speed turned up. Obviously the battery life will be challenged in those scenarios, but I do think it is perfect for the square footage I have.
