So Many Small Issues with this Model/Super Heavy!

So I have had this vacuum for about a year now and am sorely disappointed in the way this Dyson was created. Again I will first complain about how HEAVY it is - Seriously, if you are not strong and you have more than one level in your home, reconsider before purchasing this vacuum. My Dyson journey started with my grandmother originally purchasing this model for her home. She had shag carpet from the early 2000s, and had been using an older vacuum from (maybe) the 1990s to clean it. DC65 Multi Floor

DC65's great suction performs better than ever!

CLEANING FLOORS: This DC65 was able to clean all the floors in the house with just one pass. It removed cat fur, human hair and other dirt from very dense thick, silver grey wool wall-to-wall in the master bedroom as well as other various rugs throughout the house, as well as from soft American cherry floors (real wood) and from tiled floors in the bathrooms. Disappointed

I have had this vacuum for 2 years and my husband and I both hate to use it. We had a lower price point Dyson before that lasted us a good 8 years and I loved it. This model is extremely heavy and my arm and wrist hurt after every use. Good suction but that’s about it

I LOVED my old Dyson DC 15 Animal. It was getting pretty old and I replaced so many parts that I finally decided to get something newer and possibly lighter. I regret buying this model. It is in fact much smaller and lighter. However, it seems cheaply made compared to my old Dyson. It’s difficult to remove the wand and replace it. I sell vacuums and other major appliances at a well known store. I used to dislike Dyson, and would not recommend it to my customers. Then, I was GIVEN a used Dyson DC50 by a little old lady who had a minor issue with it (which if she stuck around for another 10 minutes I would have fixed it for her!). I was not thrilled and almost threw it in the garbage. I'm so glad I didn't. I fixed it, and enjoyed it so much I bought the new Dyson Ball Multi-Floor (formerly DC65). This vacuum is tremendous....

I wish I never bought it

I don't understand all these glowing reviews. I am so sorry that I bought this vacuum and now I am stuck with it. I love Dyson products in general and own a Dyson stick vacuum which I adore, but I bought this larger vacuum during quarantine and therefore was unable to try it out. Great suction, takes some getting used to

The Dyson Ball Multi Floor Origin has great suction. It pulls up a lot of dust and fine particles that my dog drags into the house. It also picks up all the fur he sheds. He sheds a lot so I vacuum three times a week. I have to dump the bin several times each use because of all the fur it picks up. This is no surprise. Difficult to use

I'm sorry but this vacuum is very difficult to use on a regular basis. The suction is great, it works well on different surfaces and cleans carpet better than other vacuums I've had but there are significant drawbacks that make me dread using it. The suction is so strong it can be difficult to push/ pull on thick carpet (I am an active 30 year old woman).
