I’ve had 2 of these now, first one the indoor unit had a leak in the coils took some fighting but they sent me a new indoor unit. About a year later the compressor goes out. So I bought another one 2 years ago and the compressor just seized up. Can’t get customer service to respond to anything let alone help. I’m done with ductlessaire garbage.
dont even bother buying anything from ductless air
I've bought 2 of these exact mini splits in the last year. both of which should've been under warrenty. one in June of last year and another in May of this year. the first one had a control board fry and the second one had a leak at both king valves. Neither lowes nor ductless were willing to help.

Very nice quick delivery of the product! Installed and everything works perfectly and looks great on the wall. Very minimal space needed. Easy to use remote that conveniently hangs on the wall!

It arrived promptly and with no damage or missing items. I had my electrician and HVAC company do the install. At startup we ran into an issue where the unit would not run. I called DuctlessAire customer service and within a short time the technical support representative had us go over a few key points and she helped to determine what was causing the issue.. which was an oversight on part of the HVAC guy. The unit has been great since. I will definitely recommend it!
motor issues shortly after warranty expired
Worked fine until the warranty expired after one year. Now the motor is about dead and im stuck in the middle of paying for a new unit or save a tiny amount to replace the motor.
Junk
This is a total piece of junk. DO NOT BUY!!!! Not even a good boat anchor. Did not last a year until I could not change the temperature setting. Now only fan will run but fan speed will not change. It comes with very limited warranty.

not good at heating
I have a 360 square foot place with 7 foot 9 tall walls. it is all open floor. At 34 degrees outside with the unit set on 85 it keeps defrosting and won't raise the temperature above 68 degrees. I bought this for heat. If I could I would get a refund.
GREAT MINI SPLIT FOR A GREAT PRICE
Great mini split for a great price. This unit has all the functions that higher priced companies sell. Super quiet. Heats/Cools my room fast and efficiently. Can be run in Cool/Heat or auto mode. Comes with everything needed to install. We had HVAC Company install but it seemed fairly quick. Looks great. Thank you Ductless Aire for supply a great unit at a fair price.
