This was my first time attempting to install a shower wall kit. Watched youtube vids and studied the directions as best I could. I used a Swanstone base rather than the one that came with this kit... one reason being is that I wanted the drain in the middle to match my existing drain pipe. I have no leaking as I applied a quality silicone sealer on all connection/wall points as well as along the base per the directions. The mistake I made was I cut through the bottom door rubber gasket completel...

This shower leaks and is ruining my floors
Before buying this shower, please do an internet search of Dreamline Shower leaks. You will find that it seems to be a consistent issue

Poor design - leaks like crazy.
I really wanted to like this shower kit because it looks great, but water leaks everywhere, even through the seams where the glass meets the frame (which is a factory/quality issue because the installer doesn’t secure the frame to the glass - it comes preattached from the manufacturer). I have had to use a tremendous amount of caulk to try to keep water inside the shower base and it still leaks. Anywhere where the metal frame of the shower comes together, water drains right through the seams and...
