I special ordered it and it was in the store 3 days sooner than they said but it was cracked. So i took a steel base and it to was cracked

unpacked a damaged product
traveled to Appleton to pick up the special order. brought it home, when I unpacked it I found the corner was crushed. this seems a bit odd that the box was not damaged?
