Perfect for my needs as a woodworker in my garage

My insulated garage (22' x 22') houses one car and a woodworking shop ( table saw, planer,workbench,etc.). I bought the 996 to supplement my main heat source, a wood stove. With 20 degree mornings, this heater will take the chill out (within an hour), quicker than the wood stove ever could. If it's a below freezing day then I'll get a fire going too. All this allows me to have more working time in the shop. Of note, the infrared heat absorbs into objects, so I pull the car out first and leave it...

A great heater for my Garage in Michigan

I’ve had this heater for two weeks so far in January. I’m heating a 2 car garage using the optional thermostat for control. It works fantastic at controlling the temperature within 3-5 degrees of the thermostat setting. I always leave the tepurature setting ont the heater at its highest setting. If starting from a cold garage and I want a quick warm-up I set the heater to 6KW and the temperature is shirt sleeve within the hour. But the best way for me is to leave it at 3KW and my Dr Heatet ...

Right size Garage Heater

Would Recommend

Very glad I finally found this 3000W/6000W infrared heater for my garage. A perfect product to keep the chilly air outside instead of inside my garage. Very efficient operation and, so far, will not add significantly to the monthy house electricity bill. Perfect heater for a 500 to 550 sq foot garage space.
