Damaged packaging and poor quality.
The box was dented in two places when we picked it up from the store and when we removed the mantel, there was a big dent on the top edge. It also had one corner where the wood was peeling up (unrelated to the dents in the box).

Not as pictured
While it is a nice, solid mantel, the pictures did not match what we received. We ordered the aged oak color and what we got was a very orange colored mantel. Not what was expected. Will be returning for this reason.
