Unexpected use: drywall in a corner
This was easy to cut with tin snips. I had a corner to finish in a basement and two perpendicular metal studs to work with which were not all that close together. Not wanting to leave a side of my drywall panel without something to screw into, I put 2x4s onto the side of one metal stud to extend into the corner, then used a bunch of screws to attach this metal corner bead to the 2x4 and the whole metal bead acted like one giant drywall clip.
