Excellent sink but...

The only complaint I have about this sink is that the bottom is "curved", not "flat" so only the actual edge of the sink sits on the countertop. I didn't know this when we ordered b/c there was only the one stock photo that showed the topside, not the bottom but other than that, the sink is great! Dekor Alliston Acrylic Kitchen Sink

We purchased this sink since it was the most similar to our existing acrylic sink, which has been in use for about 20 years. The top of the Dekor sink is nice, good finish for the parts that show. Arrived at store quickly, but since we could not see the bottom of it in online info we found out after that the detail quality on the bottom is poor. Horrible Quality Arrived Damaged

I had this sink delivered to the store for pick up. When I opened it two corners were broken. It was not packed in styrofoam. I'm glad it was damaged because it showed the poor quality of the product. It has an extreme high gloss finish. The material reminds me of a childs costume fireman hat you would buy at a dollar store. NOT as Depicted in Product Listing!

Just as another customer pointed out, the single faucet hole for Item #: 248922 |Model #: 52100, it is not aligned/centered as in the product photo. It is in line with the sink divider, it IS NOT in the center of the 33" span. Additionally, and not sure that it matters, but don't expect anything comparable in weight to an enameled cast iron sink. Don't waste your money on this one!

I was looking for a black single basin sink and i found this one reasonably priced on Lowes.com. I got the sink and installed it and didn't think to look, but the drain hole is not cut out correctly(one side of the cut out is lower than the other) . To further explain, I put the sink flange in and then connected my garbage disposal. Because the drain cut out is off, it has caused my garbage disposal to set unlevel. Great cast iron alternative

Sink has all the look of a cast iron sink, without the finish breaks and potential crazing. It is also is so much lighter than the impossibly heavy cast iron or ceramic sinks. A small drawback is the hollow sound of the plastic when bumped, but a small trade off to have an impermeable surface. Note that the sink has temperature limits( 450degrees) so you have to train yourself not to toss a hot pan in the sink.

Ordered this sink thinking it wouldn’t have any faucet holes predrilled so I could place the hole where it was needed, got it in and it had 5 holes already drilled in it. Took it back to the store to complain about not receiving the correct item thinking they would replace it but all they told me do was return and reorder. Waited on the sink over 2 weeks for it to be the wrong one.

We had a similar sink we for many years. It started to look rough eventually but it took a lot of years and wear and tear to get that way so I wanted another white acrylic sink. The price is great, it’s nice and deep, and it looks wonderful. It had a blemish on the edge but I was pretty sure the caulk would cover it up so we put it in - and I’m pretty hard core about those kinds of things. We bought a new faucet and garbage disposal too. So far so good on everything.

Easy to Install

Replacing like-for-like after ten years. This model didn't have the clear-coat and mica "sparkles", which was all to the good. I was able to remove and reinstall the faucet set, drain, Badger disposal, soap dispenser, and dishwasher vent without any problems. The only caveat is that the edge that meets the countertop is only 1/4" or so, and was difficult to apply the adhesive caulk to, but otherwise it was just what we wanted.
