Ideal for replacing and updating your worn-out, non-functioning tub spout and has a universal design that ONLY FITS A THREADED PIPE connection; it DOES NOT FIT a copper pipe slip-fit connection
Has 1/2 in IPS inside threads and will fit a 4 in stub out from tiled wall
Includes a front diverter lift rod to allow water stream to flow downward into the tub or upward into showerhead
Bathtub faucet spout has a 5 in reach
Durable metal construction provides strength, longevity and will endure the rigors of everyday use
Metal threads measures 3-3/4 in to threads from back of tub spout, so it is important to measure your stub out nipple to ensure it is at least 4 in long
Installation: You will need adjustable pliers and plumber sealing tape to help prevent leaks and provide a better seal during installation
Chrome finish resists corrosion and tarnishing and will complement your existing bathroom fixtures

Won't snug up to the bathtub surface
The end of the standard copper 1/2" threaded fitting at the end of the stub is exactly 4" from the tub wall. After engaging the stub threads, the spout will only turn enough to close the gap between the tub and base of the spout about 1/4". There is about 1/8" gap that remains after the spout will not turn anymore. I'm afraid I will damage the stub or surrounding copper pipe if I force it anymore. Sealed the gap temporarily with silicone until I replace it with something else.
Good replacement
It was the only one I found that would fit my existing plumbing

Flawless Flow Faucet
The faucet spout is working great. There is no leakage when the water diverter is pulled and directs the flow to the shower.
