AMAZING DK2 customer service, too!

We bought a wood chipper similar to this one from DK2 at Lowes. Down the line, we lost a part. I want to rave about the amazing customer service at DK2, Shayne, the customer service rep in particular, who stood by their product the entire time, tracking down the part for us and even staying in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Just such a great company. Proud to give them our support and to purchase their products.

Great functioning machine, BUT...

This machine works GREAT. But safety necessary parts have been OUT OF STOCK for a year!! The "protection Sheet" that catches pieces of wood ejected back out the input shoot has been out of stock for over a year. This piece is expendable but is REQUIRED for safe operation. The machine and function gets a six star. But not having replacement parts for expendable safety parts to a three star of less!!

Works great, but check everything carefully

Pros: Item was as ordered. Chipper started and ran flawlessly. (Only run it an hour so far.) But mulching cedar boughs and trunks up to 4 inches is no issue. Can mulch bigger diameters but starts to slow down and if branch is too long. It will run out of umph before it runs out of branch. Clearing the jam and restarting is no issue though. Cons: My chipper came with the hitch pre-installed on the wrong end of the drawbar. I didn't notice it until I hitched it up to the tractor. Then ...

protection sheet ripped off

the protection sheet has ripped off. can't get a replacement as they are out of stock. can't use now because unsafe. don't buy.

Better off saving your money

This thing sucks. Barely can ship 3", jams on .5" branches wrapping the drum. The welds on it look horrendous. Porosity, splatter everywhere, and even entire holes in the weld. Save your money, this is junk.

An owner's man should be included, and it's not.

Works fine, no beef with performance. The towing safety chains are a good 6 inches too short. though.

Great Model & Size For More Aggressive Home Owner

This machine is a beast, awesome for the diy professional home owner. The Handles on Feed Side are great to move chipper around short movements, balanced well. Great hooked to the bucket of my tractor, easy to push around woods driving tractor chipper in front. The fold down chutes are awesome for service and cleaning. Tank of gas last several hours. Does not chip up everything, lots of branches

Absolutely Amazing!!

Incredible chipper, I have nothing but great things to say. Easily eats through anything under 5”, it will chip 6” but a little slower. Power is incredible, it does not disappoint.
