The boots are comfortable without any breaking in. I suspect they will become even more comfy with time. I have bunions. Yes, I admit it. I have bunions and I'm proud of it! They take a bit of time to break in but they are very comfortable and for them to not be installated they keep your feet warm no complaints here just a great work boot

I'm going on a full year of hard daily use, no sign of failure at all. They took sometime to "break in" but after a couple of weeks they became very comfortable. I find them to be an excellent value.
