This is a very good track saw. Easy to use. Well thought out. Only drawback is no after market or factory made squaring adapters are available. I also. bought the router adapter that can be used with this track.

Great saw but the inst. manual is hard to use

I bought this saw last week to help me build a dining room table. Once I figured out how the saw worked, it performed as I hoped it would. The issue I had was with the instruction manual. It was printed with every other page backwards! You have to turn the manual around for each page. Where this was a real pain was when I was trying to learn the purpose of each of the control knobs. Page 6 lists all the components. Page 6 faces page 7 which shows two illustrations of the saw with locating...

Sure there are work arounds to get the job done that a track saw does. However, the Dewalt tracksaw will do it better than the clamp-a-straight edge method. I’ve been using this for a month to break down plywood to then be cut on my table saw. It is very well built and easy to use. I bought the clamps to go with it; $39 pair of clamps is cheaper than a sheet of plywood. The instructions are easy to follow. Gimmick

Would Not Recommend

Tracksaws are awesome. But not when they charge ~$500+. Take a solid afternoon, play with some scrap wood and clamps, and use a $100 skilsaw to achieve the same results. Better yet. Use that same skilsaw with half decent clamps and have a local metal shop fab up a straight piece of aluminum that fits your saw. The track doesn't make your cut straight. YOU make your cut straight.

Dewalt Track Saw

I have a small shop and build cabinets and it is very hard to break down 4X8 plywood on my table saw. The Dewalt track saw works great for this. I work by myself and the track saw saves me from wrestling 3/4" sheet goods by myself. I have several Dewalt tools and the track saw is no different, great quality and dependability. Dust collection is great, hardly any dust after a cut when hook to my dust collection. Thus far I am totally satisfied and would recommend the Dewalt track saw!! Not kn...
