Fan scraps bottom

Just purchased at my logo Lowe’s on Plainfield in Grand Rapids MI. Took only 5 mins to put wheels and handles on that so was good. Put in 5 gallons of Kerosene, plug in and fired it up. Immediately heard a loud noise and sounded really bad. I knew something wasn’t right. Great Heater!

Bought this heater for a detached metal garage around 1400sqft and it heats it up in a matter of 20 minutes or less! I have a small craftsman propane heater as well and this heater is a little quieter than that one surprisingly. So far no issues other than filling the tank up being the hole is under heater tube but I got a long flexible hose for my diesel tanks and it works fine now. Great heater with tons of heat output!

Make sure you try the motor before you put diesel

The motor just made a humming sound. I took the top cover off the motor to maybe figure out the problem. The fan blade on the motor was to big. Everything else looked ok so I took the blade off and trimmed a 1/4” off each blade, put the blade back on and it worked perfectly. I hate sending stuff back. That’s why I gave it a 4 rather than a 5.

Combustion chamber melted

Combustion chamber melted after two weeks. Never adjusted the fuel pressure from the factory setting.

Faulty design, useless as is

Followed the assembly and starting instructions to the word. It would not start, it would try and shut off in a few seconds without attempting to ignite. Then we noticed the pressure gauge was not actually attached, it was leaning in place but not screwed in so we had to disassemble the unit to get to where we could screw the gauge in. Heater

Needed replacement heater fast. Was in stock with minimal box damage. Axle was missing so I made one. I work outside every day regardless of the weather. If you don’t stay warm with this thing then better switch jobs.

Worked great until it reached the set temperature.

Everything assembled per the instructions. I filled it with diesel and set it for 40 degrees F and it fired up.. The ambient temperature was 35. The heater warmed up and heated my 46x36 monitor style shop. At 40 the heater shut off. As the temperature dropped in my shop very quickly I was waiting for the heater to kick back on. Never did. efficient heater, works well

I bought this to heat a 36x36 unfinished barn to thaw the ground inside so we could proceed with the concrete, worked exactly as we needed, easy to operate, thermostat isn't super accurate but did the job, fuel tank opening is inconveniently positioned, need to use a long spout on your fuel can, but I like the dual fuel capability.

Mine was a complete lemon.

Didn't work right from the start but I chose to live with it like a fool. Thermostat always read wrong and would never start or stop when it was supposed to. So you had to just turn it on when you got cold then turn it off when you began burning alive. Now here we are a year of lite use later and it has stopped working completely. Plenty of info came with the heater. We run diesel, with NO Issues. Pressure gage, on the unit! This is a must have, for trouble shooting, if needed. It started and Runs Great, no issues.
