These shears can cut a 7/32" strip which continuously curls out of the cutting area providing consistent and accurate cuts. They also features an LED work light which illuminates surface areas. Cordless shears allows user to take the tool to the workplace. Capacity (stainless steel): 16ga, Capacity (mild steel): 14ga, Speed: 2,450 spm, Min cutting radius: 5 Inches. This is a bare tool times, battery sold separately. Includes: (1) DCS494 shears, (1) Hex wrench.

Does not work on steel mesh panels.

Would Not Recommend

Tried using on steel mesh panel, just mangles the panel and gets caught between the nibbler and the nibbler sides; has large gaps between the nibbler and nibbler sides. I bought this tool in place of my hand shears because my hand shears did this. Disappointed and wasted a lot of $$$ on this.

Great tool for my job

I just got these this week and I used them for the first time today cutting some aluminum panel and some kemlite for some semi trailer repair. I run the service truck where I work and these will be a lot better for me so I don’t have to fire up the generator to run the corded shears the company supplied me with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these double cuts about 3 weeks ago, I work in HVAC and I use this product on a daily basis, I used to use a sawzall to cut pipe but since I bought these, my ear drums don’t hurt and I don’t have shards of metal hitting me in the face, and it’s safer. I love this tool I would recommend it to anyone that works with sheet metal

Found this on deep discount and purchased it. Tested it on aluminum and heavy gauge steel sheet metal. Works very well cutting straight. It doesn't cut curves, but it's a lot cleaner than a grinding wheel. No complaints given it was deeply discounted.

Great tool and cuts better then the corded ones

Cuts smooth and fast also like how you dont have to get as perpendicular of the sheet as other sheers so easier on your back if cutting a sheet on the ground or roof

Got this to install windows on a trailer. The aluminum is .060 thick and the sheers don’t know there they are cutting anything!!!! I highly recommend this tool for anyone who is working with any metal!!!
