The perfect drill for the average homeowner who wants high quality tools. I have used it to drill 1" thick wood, .25" aluminum, and set screws with it. The options of high or low speed drive, an adjustable clutch for setting torque of screws, and the hammer drill option made it the icing on the cake for my purchase. I am very satisfied with this drill. And oh yes, the battery has long lasting energy.
