Perfect post for Stair Remodel
Used this red oak newel post for a stair remodel and it turned out great. The wood was solid, straight, and had a nice grain to it. It stained really well and matched the rest of my red oak pieces without any issues. It required several cuts to fit around the stair tread and once bolted down it is a solid installation. Overall, really happy with it and would use it again.
